The media could not be loaded. Got an old 1995 11 hp Briggs running again on a Dyna/Winco 5500w genset after the old carb had been rebuilt so many times the main jet threads were shot. Price is right. However, the gasket face of the carb looked like Ace V kicked it down the road a few blocks. It was very dinged up. Throttle linkage lever was pressed on the butterfly backwards so I had to beat it off and peen it on the other way. I had to drill and tap out the governor mount hole in the bottom. Now it runs smooth with no load but bogs down. Think the jet is a bit too small for my 11hp. May be from an 8hp. Luckily my original jet is ok. May try to swap them out or drill the main jet slightly larger. When the generator did work before it had plenty of power to drive a circular saw without bogging. ... show more

Engine started immediately after the carburetor was installed. Only required minor adjustments. Build quality was much better than anticipated for the price.

    • Bought for Lincoln Weldanpower
installed today and started it up with a little adjustment and runs Great. This carb works great for the Lincoln Weldanpower with the Briggs and Stratton 16 hp I/C motor. There are a couple o rings that come with it in plastic bag without any instructions. This is why only 4 stars. Would buy again

    • Modifications may be required.
My application required drilling/tapping a 1/4 x 20 tip hole in the bottom of the fuel bowl so the original bottom bracket attaches. The hole for the crank case breather tube is fairly close, but possibly 20 degrees clockwise of original. (My tube was fairly new and would connect without tearing/cracking.) when finished I realized the governor prevents starting because it’s on the wrong size. Will have to remove the throttle shaft from the old carb and install on the new. If you are expecting an exact replacement, this may not be for you…however, after doing the modifications, the 11hp engine fired quickly and ran very well. ... show more

    • It works
Good carb but throttle plate was backwards for my Ariens snowblower with 11hp Briggs. I used a portion of the old carb to make it work. Doesn't leak and runs decent.
