  • Excellent Beginner Electric Guitar
Color: Black
I just got this electric guitar, and I’m really happy with it! The build quality is solid, the neck feels smooth, and it’s super comfortable to play. The sound is way better than I expected for the price—both clean and distorted tones sound great. It came well-packaged with all the accessories I needed, so I could plug it in and start playing right away. If you’re a beginner looking for a good, affordable guitar, this one’s a great choice. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Much better quality than I expected
Color: Green
This is actually a very nice-looking guitar. I have another guitar with an identical paint color. If you are looking to get a guitar for someone whose dedication to learning the instrument may be questionable, this is a good low-cost option to see if they stick with it. Before I had an adult job with real money, I would buy cheap guitars like this and fix them up so that they were comparable to mid-range guitars. I enjoyed it because I learned how to set up and maintain my guitars and I could customize them how I wanted. I would say the quality and setup of this guitar out of the box is comparable to what a Fender Squier was about 10-15 years ago. I say that because the last couple of Squiers I have acquired since then had nicely finished frets and attention to quality. They are also a bit more expensive now. With this guitar, it will take a little effort to set up the bridge and intonation properly. The neck is straight and the frets seem level but feel a little rough on the edges. I tend to strum a little rough and this guitar managed to stay in tune ok. The tuners don't have any movement and the gear ratio feels smooth while tuning. With the guitar, you also get an amp and accessories like a cable, a guitar strap, a clip-on tuner, an extra set of strings, some picks, and a bag. The bag is unpadded and feels cheap, the rest is serviceable but of them, all the cable is probably the first thing you'd want to upgrade. The amp is interesting. It is very narrow and has a kick stand to prop it up to face towards you as you play. It also has a headphone port to allow practicing quietly. I was actually surprised how much I liked the clean sound of the amp. There is not a huge range of volume but putting about halfway and you get a nice pleasant tone. There is a drive circuit for some distortion but in my opinion, don't waste your time. It's like a very horrible sounding overdrive and any cheap overdrive pedal is going to give you a much better sound. All in all, I'd say this is comparable to guitars I would buy at this price and fix up several years ago except you get all the extras as an added bonus. And looking at the market now, it seems like you can't get a name-brand guitar under $200 and color options are limited. So if you want a guitar of this color and know how to upgrade the hardware, I'd say go for it. Or if you want an affordable guitar that doesn't require a whole lot of tweaking to sound good, this is also a good option. ... show more

  • A Great value for the price
Color: sunburst
I play a bit of guitar, but new to electric guitars and this is a great kit. For this price point I was blown away. I have it in my office in my business and I look waaaaaaay cool with this setup. A great sound too (what I can get out of it with the chords I know lol). An amazing gift too for anyone looking to get into music of any kind or even fill out a room. Everything was packaged well. I have nothing bad to say about this kit. Insane value. ... show more

  • Amped For This Guitar
Color: Green
Really didn't have any expectations for this guitar and definitely not high ones. But I was pleasantly surprised. Purchased this as a starter guitar for my stepdaughter and she loved it! Love the mint color, thought it was different and feminine enough for her. She lives in an apartment and the amp isn't super loud so it works super great for her space. Since she's new to this, I can't speak on the quality of the guitar, but so far so good, it's working great for her and she likes it. I think it's priced correctly as well. Overall, would purchase again. ... show more

  • Great starter kit
Color: Black
I got this for the kids and I to tinker with. None of us actually know how to play the guitar so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one. This comes with everything you need to get started, and if you can get this on sale for about $110, it seems like quite a deal. The guitar seems like pretty good quality to me, considering the price. The amp is a bit weak, but I am not performing for anyone anytime soon so I don't need much. I am having a problem tuning 1 of the strings, but that is likely a me problem. ... show more
