Obviously this is nothing like my high end travel bag but I was just looking for something to keep an old Strat in when I traveled in my car. After this bag has been thrown around in my vehicle, hauled in and out of hotels and house while I've been traveling over the last 3 month. For the price it has hold up great! It is very small I didn't think my full size Strat would fit in it but it fits great and the small size makes it great for traveling. I also store a small battery powered amp, small travel stand and chord in the front pocket. The handle and back straps seem to have held up well so far.

I bought this gig back for my T-style parts caster guitar that I am putting together. The guitar fits nicely, just the right amount of snuggle. It has an internal neck strap to lock the neck in place before zipping up the case. The case is nicely padded throughout, although wish it had a bit more padding, but I can't fault the case. More padding equals more cost. It will do fine, much better than a simple, unpadded "rain and dust bag". It has a large outside-access zipped pocket to hold note books, shoulder straps, strings, etc. Plenty of room for stuff you'd need to have on hand. Overall, I am pleased with this padded case. I'd buy another one, they are good enough for my needs.

I'm a fan of triangle shaped gig bags. The don't announce "guitar" and the triangle shape makes it possible to attach the straps high enough on the bag so the guitar doesn't stick up 3 feet above your head. On this bag, they got the hard stuff right, but the easy stuff less so. The straps attach high enough so you can walk through a doorway without whacking the neck of your guitar (seems obvious, right?). The zippers work well, the handle and straps are nicely padded. But the case itself doesn't have much padding. On top of this, they pack the bag folded in thirds, so what padding there is shifts around and takes some effort to straighten and flatten things out. The guitar-shaped cases Fender sells for just a little more are way superior in terms of padding and protection but for my purposes, carrying a guitar in my trunk, or over one shoulder, or storing it in a closet, this bag is pretty much what I was looking for. But I have better cases for when I need them.
