I’m my opinion, this shelf is well built and is made of quality materials. The price is very competitive with what I found on google. I didn’t receive any instructions but the installation was pretty straightforward. I installed this shelf by myself, an extra person would really help. The only cons for me were: The edges were a bit sharp on bottom of shelf. It slipped from my hands and it did cut my thumb when I caught it (paper cut deep). I also wish that I could mount the support brackets where I wanted them to go, or at least wish it had multiple options for the bracket location. I could not mount on studs. I didn’t like the cheap anchors it came with so I used some I had laying around. But over all, I am very happy with my purchase.

This is the 2nd one purchased. 1st one was great - no issues. 2nd came damaged and the holes were not lined up for the hardware provided. We needed this immediately, so unable to deal with the return process.

This stainless steel shelf is just what I needed for my laundry room. The sturdy shelf was easy to install, and it can hold a lot of weight of my laundry and cleaning supplies. I like that it can fold down to make room if I need to shift around my appliances, and it locks securely when folded out again. The bottom of the shelf is bare wood, so I wouldn't want to use this outdoors. Otherwise this shelf is excellent for my needs and I love how it's easy to clean. The stainless shelf is generally good-looking for use on a food truck that gets abused and dirty. My unit has dings and scrapes at all four corners, which, if the same were on a new fridge, the fridge would go back to the store. Thus, my unit is not good enough for in-home use because the scrapes are noticeable. The wooden backing underneath is exposed. It would get wet in the rainy season. I would seal it with caulking and paint it before I put the shelf on my RV or outdoors. I might find a place for it in my garage or shed. It will be a nice shelf there.

So I am putting this on my food truck right underneath the service window. I love this folding countertop because I've been looking for a good one not too expensive and this one is outstanding. When this came it was shipped well and has a protective film over the countertop. The brackets came in a seperate box and had small silver screws. These are not really the screws that you use for this. Your first clue is that they come with dry wall anchors. What you want to do is use your own screw hardware and apply the folding brackets to the underside of the countertop with adhesive. What I did was fasten the brackets with JB Weld and I did just use their screws which are now JB Welded into the countertop. They are going nowhere and are not wobbly at all. So the brackets are one of the best parts of this and one thing I was really excited on getting with it. The reason is I can make a countertop but it would be really hard for me to make brackets. The brackets work good too and only get a little hung up on a rivet that sticks out. This is of no consequence because the brackets gravity drop when unlocked and power right past the rivet. Over time the pieces will smoothe over and you won't even notice it. But the brackets auto lock as soon as you raise the countertop and then are unlocked by push knobs. The brackets do not need any machining and are not designed to be operated by the customers so it does not need to be deburred to a high degree. So this option is amazing because if you built your own food truck like me you are not going to find more economical commercial industry items such as this countertop very easily. It's practically heaven sent and looks beautiful and works flawlessly. Now if someone could explain to me why my first review of this product I did 2 weeks ago got deleted?
