I bought them because the are in a packaging different then a actual can. The beans are preserved in water. The flavor out of the package in nonexistent. Since the beans was cooked with little to no salt it took a while to get them suitable for my flavor pallet. The beans are firm and required cooking for longer then I’m used to. The finished product was pretty good. I would buy again but then would not be a my first choice.

None of my eight birds liked them at all. They wouldn't eat them. I tried mashing them and they still wouldn't eat them. A lady who is a parrot expert recommended them to me and I wish I had not bought so many.

When amazon first asked me to review these beans, I was blown away. Such an honor - to be asked by the worlds leading space exploration company to review their flagship product was humbling. To say these beans were mind-blowing would be to understate their significance in my life. These beans singlehandedly saved my marriage this week - I won't go into the details, but let's just say, without these beans, I would be dead in a ditch today. I have eaten many beans in my lifetime, but these beans made the beans from Jack and the Beanstalk look like rabbit droppings. I wish the manufacturers continued success in their future endeavors - may god bless you on your quest.
