They're also great for making hummus, though friends from distant lands might disagree with me on that. Some insist you need to start with dried chickpeas. I think it is a preference. I've had really good luck with this brand of garbanzo beans lately. I appreciate that they are decent sized beans inside, and not the tiny ones I sometimes get with other store brands. The quality, freshness, texture, and flavor all seem very nice to me. I love using these to make my own hummus at home, but these beans are quite versatile for other culinary pursuits as well. Sometimes I just put some in my salad to add a bit of protein and fiber. I have also air fried these to make a little more of crispy and crunchy textured enjoyable snack. They're easy to incorporate into a variety of dishes, and I've been enjoying them so far. The only reason for not giving these five stars is simply that I don't think they're the best value available out there. I wish they would offer these in a multi-pack for better value for money.
