I bought these for a cupcake recipe that I never ended up making, so they got stuck in the back of a cupboard and forgotten. A few months later, as I was making some oatmeal, I longed for fresh fruit to add in, but I had none on hand due to it being out of season and the supermarket berries being hit or miss most of the time. I remember I had these and opened the package for the first time. The fresh smell of strawberries was amazing! I tried one and was blown away by the taste and texture - like a more natural version of the marshmallows in Frankenberry cereal. I added them to the oatmeal and they were fantastic (although not the same as fresh strawberries which are still the best). Shipping was a tad slow and they did apologize and own that part before I could even ask about it. So, I appreciated that. They seem more filler than the ones I get at the store which is a bonus!
