These are really nice. I wanted something that I could easily clean and wipe off once they are at the bar where we use them a lot for eating meals. And because we use them often, I wanted them to be good quality - I definitely think they will last and be worth the price I paid for them. Make sure you go back and tighten all the screws, these chairs were easy to put together, my husband and son assembled tjem in abt 30 minutes. Comfortable, stable and durable so far. Kids love them. We get compliments on them so the style is as pictured. The base is wider so we have stubbed a toe once or twice when looking for the light switch and miscalculating steps
