The media could not be loaded. This set is a great Beginner set! The color pencils are vibrant, pigmented & smooth whether used dry as color pencils or wetting the colored parts as Watercolor. Especially for the price, would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone wanting to try out Watercolor pencils, like me. They came pre-sharpened && ready to use! I also like how each color is numbered & labeled. And appreciated the included Color Chart too! As you can see in the included video. if you sharpen them too much, the tips break off. they break off easily anyway, but mostly if they are too sharp. otherwise, they are nice pencils. the 36 pencil box has no black or white, but there are several shades of all other colors. nice pencils.

This is a great set for those interested in trying watercolor pencils without investing a lot of money, like me. There are enough color choices to draw most objects. The pencils are also a good way to test out design ideas before committing to a full watercolor painting. I couldn’t blend these the way I am used to with the paint. I just used alternating cross hatching before adding a bit of water with a brush. That didn’t work quite the way I expected. The quality is not bad. I do like the little container that it comes in. There are six different shades of pink and seven different shades of green. There is no purples or red. There are some deep brick like colors, but they tend to show up more on the Brown side, so there are eight different shades of brown. Maybe more way too many greens because the lead is so soft it all comes to almost the same colors and each shade category. ... show more
