Absolute mess from start to finish. First it was incredibly hard to get the vacuum lined up in the perfect spot to remove the air from the bags. Once it did get going, it was pretty slow, but I could forgive that if it hadn't been so hard to line it up. The REAL problem is that the don't stay under vacuum. Three out of three bags let air back in. At this point I called it a loss and returned them.

So far, so good. I've packaged up about 6 spools of filament at this point and the bags are definitely holding the air tight seal. Now, the manufacturer doesn't claim that these bags are non porous or will hold forever, but if you toss in a silica pack in there after drying the filament, I'd like to think that the filament should be ready to go months or perhaps a year or longer after sealing. The pump is easy to use. It's not particularly strong nor does it need to be. Figure about 60-90 seconds to get most of the air out of the thing bags. Just make sure your ziploc top is totally sealed (they provide some clips if you're having a struggle doing it by hand.) They also include silica packs (nice) and some markers for labeling the filament bags. I likely won't use those as they're permanent, but the kit itself is overall a great value to keep your filaments dry, clean, and ready for print action.

Bags are great. Vacuum quit working after 5 bags. Tried multiple chargers and cords to charge. I wouldn't buy.
