The item seems to be very high grade steel. The fit is absolutely perfect. easy in and easy out but with very low tolerance. Use a C-clamp rather than a mallet for easy compression. You don't need much pressure at all. The device is very simple to clean with alcohol and a toothbrush if it ever gets too gunked up. The pucks are easily popped out of the cylinder with the large shaft that extends the entire length of the tube. You do need to measure your input carefully so get the right thickness on your finished puck especially if you are going to press the pucks for their oils. ... show more

Very easy to use. Just add around 3.5 grams of material than pound the top of it with a rubber hammer till it doesn't compress anymore than you have a perfect size puck for pressing.

This is a great quality pre-press mold! I use it for 4g-7g quantities rather frequently, mostly 4-5g. It creates a perfect little puck! Buy a rubber mallet like suggested to use and you'll be making the best flawless pucks in no time!

- well made, extremely sturdy BUT here is the issue. Read some reviews on here saying the puck is smaller than the bag and leaves too much air gap. It is 100% true I tried three different brands. All had a large enough gap to trap rosin and lessen yields. Get this is you dont care about yields. If you care about yields dont waste your money.
