I love a garden fence! I have a dog, so they help to mark off areas that I don’t want her to walk/disturb. I’ve had the garden fences that you can find almost anywhere for a couple of years and they are such a pain to install, reposition, and move. This is not true for these fences all! The set comes with 5 panels and 6 spikes for placement. When I pulled these out of the box, I was initially surprised I’d have to put the fence together but this actually makes all of the difference in set up! These were so simple to set up- I didn’t have to fight with the panels to get them to sit straight at all. Just sit the panels where you want them and slip the rod through. I waited until after a few days of rain so the ground was soft and these pierced the ground effectively with no bending- the instructions recommend using a mallet but I was able to push them in by hand with ease. Of all of the garden fences I’ve owned this was most definitely the easiest set up. The rods are nice and thick and don’t bend easily which is so refreshing since the legs on my other fence are notorious for becoming bent and misshapen. The fence is also nice to look at once installed. Great addition to the garden. I’ll never go back to another type of garden fence! 10/10 would recommend.

The other reviews on this item are mixed: some say it's sturdy, some don't. I can attest that the build quality is plenty sufficient for simple barriers. You're not going to want to use this one for anything much larger than a small pet. That said, the pieces assemble easily and seem as though they will last. It's too early in the season for me to give a full report. The caveat: the spikes are not quite deep enough to give me full confidence. I suppose you could drop them down one notch and the fence would still hold, aside from the top connection, but we'll see. Also, the panels were a bit warped. Weird, but not a deal breaker.

Our dog doesn't stay on his "pee pad" outside and often finds his way into some trees at the edge of our property and then gets his leash tangled and we have to go outside and fish him out. I wanted some small fences just to deter him from wandering and saw these on Amazon. They come as separate panels that are then held together by long spikes that both hold the panels together and attach them to the ground. With only 5 panels, I opted to separate them into one small fence of 3 and one of 2 on either side of a flower pot. So far they're doing well in deterring him as this was where he would wander. They were very easy to setup and I enjoyed the flexibility.

I ordered the 5-panel set to deflect my dogs from walking through a muddy area while I attempt to grow grass over it. This set is far superior to folding fencing that one must progressively push into the ground, only to require re-arranging the entire length when a large root or rock is encountered, common in my property. The sturdy panels measure as stated, are securely welded and the bends and stake eyelets are right-sized and uniform, a common problem with cheaper fencing. The stakes are just right length the thickness - long enough to secure the fence yet not buckle with resistance to pushing or pounding in. The end knob makes it easy to push in by hand or pound in if necessary. The black color avoids drawing attention to itself. I'm glad I ordered the set.

These "animal barrier" wire panels are too lightweight for any dog; they'll easily be pushed over. But I got them for holding up my Maximilian Sunflowers in my garden bed, which grow tall enough to lean outside of the bed. I'm not sure these panels are tall enough to accomplish the task, but they were easy to put together, the finish seemed good and covered all the metal, there are plenty of them for my job, and the price was very reasonable. The width measurement is not accurate at 13 inches, they're shorter, but that worked out for me as two fit perfectly in the narrow part of my bed. I'll update the review later in the year after the sunflowers reach maximum height.
