This this is epic! My husband got one for Christmas from my mother. And was dying for a second one to dedicate to wood while the other is for light metals. The upgraded spindle is worth this eat up on its own! The set up comes mostly assembled and ready to rock. It doesn’t take up tons of space and the spindle is fairly quiet. Sold, heavy, this thing is a beast. I'm now carving aluminum. I also bought the "Kaba Fold CNC Enclosure for CNC Machine" and it makes it very quiet. Recommend them both.

I have purchased 4 of this brands CNC's since 2022. This is one of the smaller ones I have bought. I started off with a 3018 and if just wasn't up to my needs in size and strength. Everything is packaged very well and secure. This one is made with all metal parts, and even though the working space isn't any larger it is well made. Assembly time is really low with this model, I think it took me around 30 minutes to put together and ensure the spindle was squared with the deck of the bed. Plugged all the wires up and had it running in less then a hour to test it. I will be setting this smaller one up to only engrave my products freeing up my 2 larger CNC's. For small projects I would recommend this little CNC, out of the box it is ready to mill. You will want to get or make a dust boot for it if you don't want dust and chips all over your work area and the rails of this CNC.

The instructions for this CNC are terrible. First, they only provide you one 3mm wrench and that is the only thing they expect you to use, but to take out the rails and install the extension kit, you have to have a number of other wrenches. First unit I got had many issues, second one seems to be better, but QC is not great.

So my husband was a machinist at one point and has been wanting his own CNC machine to tinker with. When I saw this, I figured we would try it. Straight out of the box, it feels like a quality machine. All metal, clean and easy assembly. We work with wood and acrylic and once our design was set up, making it was simple. We utilized the Candle software and had no issue navigating it. The working space is roughly the size of a standard sheet of paper, good for small projects. We’re very happy with this little CNC.

We got this 3020-PRO Ultra CNC router to experiment with engraving braille onto acrylic signs. It’s been a learning curve, but the machine itself is solid. The metal frame is sturdy, and the spindle is more powerful than expected for this price range. It’s well-suited for small jobs on wood, metal, and plastic. Still fine-tuning for braille, but it’s proven useful for other sign-related projects already.

I looked into the prior model to this one to gain insight on how well it worked and the company in general. Based on the information I could find, I decided that this newer model CNC would be a good investment. I’ve always been fascinated by CNCs and decided to take the plunge. This has been a struggle. The machine goes together well and seems to be of quality design and manufacture. However, I had difficulty in actually getting sufficient instructions, software or interactive capacity to get anything done other than one of the sample designs that was preloaded. The provided software CANDLE will install, but no real info on how to use it. I still don’t know what I need to create my own designs and import them to the unit. I realize that this is likely due to my low level of experience, but it appears that other folks across the internet are also struggling. In any case, I’m still intrigued, but will likely go find something smaller and more complete in instructions and with more dedicated software interactivity before I make another run at using this CNC.
