It occurred to me it would be nice if someone made a stick-on cup holder for a mug so I did some searching and couldn’t believe it when I found this product. I’m not exactly sure of the science and how it holds without being sticky, but I put it on my glass shower door where it’s held for the last few months without a single problem. No slipping, no moving, it’s perfect! It did not work on the fiberglass wall with a tile texture. Because it’s not sticky, it’s easily removable for cleaning and it holds my full cup of coffee in a large mug with zero issues. i attached this thing to my frameless glass shower door a little over two years ago. i never tried to apply more pressure to increase the suction power, but it has naturally absorbed more glass area over the years on its own. aside from not needing to clean this thing it doesn't fall off when you slide your glass shower door too hard so that the fixed glass door smashes into this thing. biggest pro - i have no fear bringing glass into the shower now. i started off with pint glasses, but now prefer those slightly tapered 20oz glasses that many breweries have branded and sell. i fill one of those up and this thing holds it just fine. this thing isn't going to slide off or detach causing broken glass on my shower pan. i enjoy that peace of mind. ... show more

Unlike for many others, this stuck to the window in my shower beautifully! I just cleaned the glass first. To be honest, I very rarely used it for drinks but it did hold a whole bunch of other things like shampoo, conditioner, kids toys, etc. Now that being said, I just had to remove it due to moving and I thought I was going to break my window. I had to pull on it so hard and even tried heating it up with a hair dryer. I don't know how long it's going to take me to get the residue off the window 😭 ... show more

In theory this is a great idea. However, this was a complete was of money. I followed the instructions as directed and then went to check to see how secure it was and it was falling off! Tried to send it back and didn't get to it in time.
