I bought an airbrush from arbor eight, HF is missing, you figure it out. The airbrush was a siphon type but it only came with one bottle so I purchased more here on amazon but they didn't have a way to cap them off to preserve the paint inside. I've read about people using plastic wrap and rubber bands but I wanted something neater and better. So when I was looking for the extra bottles and trying to figure the angle of the siphon tube, yes there are two different angled bottles, so make sure when you're buying extra bottles you buy the right ones and then buy these caps. Fits tight, just right. I use these on the Paasche bottles, and Master brand glass bottles. Since most jars are NOT hermetically sealed (vent hole, cap thread, etc.) I still put my bottles in a Ziploc Bag if storing overnight or longer. These are still really important when I line up 3 or 4 colors (bottles) to shoot. Keeps my paint mix fresh while I mess around getting ready! ... show more

    • Jar lids are terrible straws fall off for design
The bottles came broken the lids were broken and the straws fall off inside the bottles when you're using them they're not designed for lacquer paint to design for water paint very dissatisfied you need metal straws at the bottom of the caps and the cap should be metal it would be worth paying more money without having issues very dissatisfied poorly design the jars or great need to redesign the caps destroys fall off they can't handle the chemical terrible design plastic caps no good ... show more

Description says it all. a cover for paint containers ready to use to keep contaminants out of the container. it fits over the connector on the cap and works. Don't know for how long but I dont plan on using them for long term storage once the medium has been thinned.

Its crap !!! The listing on amazon shows three bottles in this but, when it arrived there were only vinyl siphon spout plugs!!😠😠😠 now I have to order then too.

    • Unusual caps
Good for stopping spills & drying of paint in airbrush bottle until paint can be stored properly. I use these mostly with lacquer paints since they dry quick in the stem. Keeps dirt & dust out.

Be aware this item is light weight and tiny the last ones I ordered came in a box with other items and I accidentally tossed it. But they work well preserves my paint for a while longer than with no cap.
