  • Lightweight, Easy to Adjust, and Practical — Best for Light Stability, Not High-Risk Use
Excellent construction. Easy to assemble... instructions are included, but not needed since all three parts are clearly labeled. The large wheels/tires work well on both hardwood floors and carpet. It's also sturdy enough on a paved/gravel driveway when going to the mailbox. (Speaking of which, the little secure pouch is large enough for a week's worth of letters and bills.) The hand brakes are secure and easy to squeeze. The locking brakes take a little effort to lock in place (and an equal effort to unlock) but they're brakes and you want them to be secure. No complaints... just an observation. The rubber handles are form fit for a comfortable grip. They are off-gassing a bit... I could smell it while it was parked next to me (in a draft-free room). Also, when holding the grips for any length of time it causes my hands to have a plastic odor. But after a few days that has gotten better and less strong. Again, not a complaint, just an observation for anyone who has allergies or respiratory sensitivities. When the crossbar is in the locked position the rolling walker is secure and stays open. When it's unlocked and allowed to fold, then the walker easily folds (mostly) flat and will fit in the car (back seat, standing upright) or in the trunk (laying flat). It's a great all-purpose walker for someone who needs a little extra stability and confidence. For others who are at a greater risk of falling, this might not be the assistance that they need. Why? Because it can be a little wobbly (compared to four-wheel models). Note: If the person using this walker stands or walks directly between the handles, then it remains steady. It becomes less stable if you move outside of the "safe zone" (for example, when shopping and reaching for something on the shelf, but also holding on to a handle.) The height adjustment is VERY easy. My husband uses the #6 position, and when I'm using it, I'll quickly (with just the push of an unlock button) click it down to the #4 position. EASY!! The rear wheels provide enough clearance for easy walking. They also clear almost every door in our house. I think the word "narrow" can be misleading... it's only narrow when it's folded closed... but it's nearly the same width as our other four-wheel walker with a seat and backrest. The measurements in the listing are accurate however... I just wouldn't characterize it as "narrow." Overall I'm very pleased. Five stars. ... show more

  • Lightweight, easily transported and stores, but does not handle uneven terrain well
The big selling point for me considering this three wheeled walker was its portability. It is very easy to fold up and pop in the car as it is easy to fold and is lightweight. There is a little basket in the center for me to put my things in as I walk around. The downside for me is there is no seat if I get tired. Also, that it seems to be weighted toward the front. Every little curb in an uneven sidewalk would cause the walker to stop immediately and have to be lifted over the bump. On most sidewalks and flat surfaces, it works just fine and rolls well. Uneven surfaces and grass were it’s undoing. It would stop and tip up over the front. On the upside, assembly was quite simple and the braking system was effective. And I really liked that the handles could be adjusted up and down accommodating fit for taller people like myself. I am certain I will still get a bit of use out of it as it is indeed quite easy to transport and store but it does lose one star for the issue going over uneven terrain. A decent value for the money, and as such make a good entry level walker or something someone might need just temporarily for their health. ... show more

  • Smooth, strong, and so easy to assemble!!
My 82 father-in-law is diabetic and has stage 4 chronic kidney disease. Because of his kidney damage, he is often very weak and has difficulty getting around the house. Even something as simple as walking from the living room to the kitchen can become exhausting. After he fell and hit his head last month, we decided to get him a walker to help prevent any future falls. I just hope he agrees to use it! This walker was so easy to put together. I'm a 50 year old woman and I was able to assemble the walker by myself, from start to finish, in about 10 - 15 minutes. The instructions are easy to follow and understand. I like that the handles are ergonomic and fit to the shape of your hand. You should make sure that you don't forget to attach the brake cables to the inside of the snaps on each side or they will dangle and could potentially get caught on things as you walk by. The walker feels sturdy, strong, and well-made. Moving around is smooth and having hand brakes makes it easier to control which direction you need to go. The brakes aren't too stiff, so if you were to squeeze them really hard, it won't make the walker suddenly stop. I applied the brakes as hard as I could and the walker still came to a gentle stop. It folds up quick and easy by turning the knob on the front of the walker, but you can't fold the wheels or handlebars in at all. It just folds together around the middle section to make it more slim. I think this walker is safe, reliable, and is definitely worth the price. ... show more
