The light pattern has a distinct cutoff so they wont blind oncoming traffic and is nice and bright. The best part about these pods (besides being DOT approved for on road use) is the wide pattern. I do a lot of night driving on the interstate with a high number of deer in the area. These fogs illuminate far off the sides. I can see well past the shoulder and into the wooded area. These are very good fog lights. Let me repeat, FOG LIGHTS. They are designed to throw a flat wide beam directly in front of the vehicle, which when aimed properly, they do very well. They have e very sharp vertical cut off as to not bling oncoming drivers and more importantly do not throw light where it can be reflected back causing glare. They ARE NOT driving lights. Do. It expect these lights to light the road 1000 yards down the road. When the weather is bad and there is fog, snow or rain these lights shine. I’ve had them for about a year and have not had any issues with moisture but I did open them and ran a fresh bead of silicone sealant around the gasket. As I get older my night vision isn’t what it used to be and these lights help a lot. ... show more

These are super bright. Literally brighter than my low beam headlights. The cut off is super sharp making these very safe for oncoming traffic. Very wide also, so increases my safety as well. Very white light. Perfect temperature, in my opinion.

The build quality is nice. The electrical connectors are nice quality. They even include a sheathed wiring harness although I didn't use it and made my own with a relay. While lighting is usable, it is mediocre brightness and has a strange pattern. The pattern is a horizontal beam; that's it. Cut off at the top and at the bottom. You get a beam of outward light forward and to the sides, which is great for a fog light application. However, the bottom cutoff also prevents any light from hitting the road where you expect it. ... show more

Had these since Feb 2021. Light output is mediocre but the exterior build quality is nice. Internals are the problem. Could use a better driver and more power. The original led set up is very weak. I changed the driver and led so now it's brighter than my halogen headlights. If you really want some bright lights check out name brands. You get what you pay for. ... show more
