These glasses are quite nice, frame seems well made and lenses (3x) are clear with no distortion. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the glass cases are a joke, so ugly and very flimsy, basically worthless. The glasses and cleaning cloth are worth the price . They should eliminate the cases altogether.

Good for the price, but the distance part is too short so they are too blurry to use for anything, but reading unfortunately. I wouldn't buy again because they didn't fit my needs.

I had cataract surgery and needed reading glasses for up close. Purchased these glasses despite the fact that some reviews said the temples (arms) broke on all 3 pairs of glasses after a week or 2. I really liked the tortoise shell glasses, so for the price, I thought I would give it a try. I have to say, that I love them so much, I bought a 2nd set of them. It’s nice to have extras in a couple of different rooms, and in your vehicle, so I will always have access to them when needed. As far as the temples, breaking, I have had no issues with that problem. I treat them like they are prescription glasses and do not leave them where they could get sat on or stepped on, etc. I store them in the felt glasses cover that comes with the glasses when I am not wearing them. The temples are as tight as the day I got them. I can read quite well with these glasses as well. I did go to stores that sold reading glasses and tried them on to find the correct power. The reason I didn’t buy any of the store glasses, is because they were cheaply made, not very stylish, and didn’t come in the color I wanted, and in some case more expensive than these glasses. I am very happy with them.
