I had to purchase an OEM keihin for my Kawasaki 400 Prairie ATV. I paid $400.00 for a new carb which never worked correctly. After the primer quit working, I decided to give the Motoku carb a try because of the stellar reveiws and the great price. The Motoku carb worked so much better than my OEM Keihin carburetor at a fraction of the cost. The idle adjustment cable and fuel line were a little too short for my application. In addition, the enrichment cable bezel did not fit correctly but I was able to use the ones from my old carb. Definitely give this carb a try. ... show more

I was having serious mixture issues. My 2000 prairie 400 was running terrible. I cleaned the carb, re-jetted, spent hours. I finally gave up and bought this carburetor, installed it, adjusted the pilot screw for elevation, and it runs flawlessly now- like brand new.     • I should have done this swap years ago.
My 2000 Kawasaki Prairie has been running rough for several years. It seemed not matter how much I adjusted the thing it never would idle correctly. I ended up having to leave the choke partially on which on many occasions would caused the rpm to be too high to put it in gear. This carb was a direct bolt on and my ATV is idling and running perfectly! I am irritated that for this price, I put this off for so long! ... show more
