My favorite summer shirt is a kind of smooth, "slinky" golf shirt. I've had difficulty finding a long sleeve version of this for winter use, but the pictures on-line suggested that these might qualify. I ordered a set of three, which together cost about the same as one would at a department store. And I'm pleased to say that they are almost exactly what I've been looking for. So now I've ordered a second set. The fabric these are made of is smooth and soft and very comfortable. The "slippery" texture makes the shirts easy to pull on or off. And they feel good on one's skin. The listing gives precise measurement instructions based on chest size, arm length and such. But, lacking a tape measure, I simply ordered my usual size, XL. The shirts fit perfectly, but they might be a tad tight on someone on the large end of XL. I might note that although these shirts are long sleeve, this is really pretty much a summer fabric, and so I need to wear them over a T-shirt in colder weather. I'm not sure long sleeve polo shirts really keep one any warmer than short sleeve shirts do, anyway, but they do look more appropriate in winter. I paid right around $36 for three shirts of varying colors (there are a number of different options for the three), and I think at $12 each, these are quite a bargain. They've come through one wash just fine, and we will have to see how they hold up to multiple washings. I note that at least one review complains that the fabric snags, and though mine have not yet, I can attest that this is commonly a problem with this fabric. So if you like to sit in wicker chairs, this might be an issue. I like the fabric enough that I take my chances.

I bought a set of the "standard" 3X size shirts. Great quality, but they run a little small. I knew this from a previous purchase of this brand. Standard 3X is 26" wide (for a 52 chest) and 32" long, perfect for what I needed. I hope this helps!

Took the shirts out of the plastic bags, All were ok but the yellow! Big foot print on back , looked like it had been used to wipe up a mess . The others are ok. The yellow one did not clean up in laundry!
