He was having trouble getting his back legs up high enough to get in. This stool is very well made. Much better than plastic step stools. The only thing I wish was different was that you could extend the legs to full height and still be able to fold them in without having to lower the legs every time you want to store it. I have arthritis in my hands so it makes it hard to get the legs lower to storing. Very pleased with the sturdiness. With plastic stools I was always afraid it would collapse. I also love that it come fully assembled . Take out of the box and ready for use. I recommend this stool highly.

Love this step. Although it is rather heavy, you can step down without the worry of it tipping on uneven ground. Very easy to adjust and fold for storage. Pass on the plastic folding stool and get this instead. It Is worth the extra expense.

I can now reach the clothes in the bottom of the dryer! A big deal for me. Really sturdy, at 75 I don't have to worry about tipping or slipping. I purchased this stool to use to access the upper shelves in my cupboards and the top of my fridge. It seems the older you get, the shorter you become. This is a very nice little stool, very sturdy and well built with no plastic parts. Indeed worthy of the purchase!! It is most appreciated because it actually has room for BOTH of your feet with a couple inches to spare!! This is made well enough to serve several generations if treated kindly.

We weren't expecting this to be as sturdy as it is but are extremely happy with it. We love that we can adjust the legs independently for height, as we purchased this to be an additional bottom step to our travel trailer for the spots that were too tall for our senior dogs and small chihuahua to make it to the bottom step to the rv on uneven terrain.
