This works as our monoxide alarms were going off and it would adjust very quickly when walking closer to the source. I will say numbers were about 20 points lower than what was on the firefighters sensors. Battery life is short but I'm glad I have it to take on trips.

Worked fine for about a year then one day recently it just stopped. I thought maybe the battery died but I've had it charging for the last 2 days and still nothing -- just a blank display. For $40 you'd think it would last a few years. I took this Puerto Rico. We stayed in an Airbnb that did not have a carbon dioxide monitor in it and so I wanted to make sure that we had that and this worked well. I will say that it doesn’t hold a charge so you may have to charge this a few times, but it’s easy to charge.
