I put it under my desk and I sit my adding machine on the top this way I can roll it out when I need my adding machine and it’s not cluttering my desk. This purchase was full of pleasant surprises! First was that the order gave me a 7-10 day delivery estimate, but it got here in 4. Sweet! Second was that the white finish on the file cabinet was perfect, despite some scuffing and scratches on the box. This thing was packaged SO WELL! Third, the construction is great. It’s all metal, the drawers align, the lock works, the measurements were what I expected, and the wheels (the only part I had to add) all fit and were easy to assemble. It even came with a wrench to tighten the bolts so I didn’t have to so much as look at my toolbox for this. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Good price for a nice, very sturdy little file cabinet that fits neatly under the desk. The file drawer smartly allows for hanging "legal" size or "letter" size files due to a smart cross-bar that accommodates either orientation. Also includes a nice locking mechanism (and 2 keys) to keep contents secure. The constructuon is precise, with no gaps or warping. The wheels roll very quietly and smoothly, and a fifth wheel on the bottom drawer prevents the file cabinet from tipping over when the drawer is fully extended. I was so pleased with the quality and features that I ordered a second identical cabinet the next day. Matte Black color is perfect in my office.

Needed to purchase a Phillips offset craftsman tool in order to tighten the screws. My hand could not grip the screwdriver included because of tight spaces. . I made two purchases. The first purchase the right side panel of the cabinet is bent and leaves a gap that I don’t like. I requested a replacement panel from the seller and they refused to send a replacement. They offered a partial refund if I sent more pictures to prove that the bent side panel affected normal function of the cabinet.. so I sent the pictures and was hoping for some compensation. But the seller stated that because the bent side panel does not affect the cabinets function , that they will not proceed with a partial refund and instead wanted me to disassemble and try to bend the panel back to fix it.. and trust me I tried to fix it otherwise I wouldn’t have contacted . I was disappointed with that customer service . We pay $126 for a cabinet that we intend to keep for years in our garage and want it to come in the state the pictures show on the product page. Not for pieces to be bent and look displeasing to the eye everytime we walk in our garage.. I found it rude. Anyhow, I saw others on here that actually had a good product so I went ahead and tried ordering another cabinet because I thought they actually looked good and eventually I want four or five of these in my garage. And what do you know! It actually came out perfect. Almost like the previous cabinet panel was in fact defective.. and should have been handled accordingly by the seller. I will attach photos again of my original cabinet that has a defective issue and then a photo of the second perfect cabinet. I tried to put them side by side in hopes to minimize the gap but it still looks horrible in my opinion and I don’t want that to be in my garage honestly. If the seller reaches out and makes it right then I will be willing to purchase more and adjust my review accordingly but I don’t think it’s right to not send a replacement panel and refuse a refund. At least be willing to send a replacement cabinet to someone who is willing to purchase multiple of the product if the customer service is there.. The problem cabinet has a gap on the right side between the door and panel . The perfect cabinet is the next photo over. And then the 2 side by side is shown to show to difference and how noticeable it is. Especially if I’m to have multiple and that just doesn’t align with the rest. The side by side photos is one with them close as possible to each other and the other is a few inches away. Also the first cabinet I notice the door does not close correctly. And in the pictures I can see that it actually looks like one is higher than the other so it won’t allow the door to close flush without pushing into it. I had thought it was normal but once I got this new cabinet , I was able to really close it with ease and so I found out the door was messed up.

I first ordered ‘Amazon’s pick’ in under- table file cabinets, which was $40 more than this one. It arrived banged up, poorly packaged and unusable. I had to go to the trouble to repackage it and haul it back to UPS — a waste of everyone’s time and effort! In contrast, this one was impeccably packaged, in pristine shape, a breeze to put together with clear and simple instructions, and is beautiful and functional. Buy this one, forget the others!
