QUALITY OF THE HIGHEST ORDER! I am a tugboat captain, I’d like to think that 20 years on the deck has made me very intimate with rope. I (try to) run a small marine rigging buisness and chose blue ox blue 3/8” nylon double in a 300’ spool. I’m spicing docklines together and actually had to stop and write this review before I forgot. As this was one of the best deals I was Leary I’d get stiff, dfficult to splice double braid. The spool before this was BOATECTOR and it was so stiff I broke two wire fids. If you are trying to decide to buy this rope, take it from a professional. This is some of the most supple, easy to splice rope I have ever worked with. Best value I’ve ever had on spool I purchased. The rope feels very nice and soft and seems to be very strong. I really like it. Blue ox sells higher rated ropes and this isn't designed for climbing, but for general purpose pulling and lifting it is great and less expensive than the climbing ropes.

This is nice line of good quality. It is not as nice as a premium New England Braid or something of that caliber. But it is 1/3 the price of premium line and for that price, it is great stuff. I am making eye splices in it and using it to hang fenders on my boat. The eye splice is easy to make, but will need some lock stitching to keep it all together, which is not uncommon for nylon rope. ... show more

Lower cost but the line is very loose woven bought for my sailboat usage will work on areas where it isn't critical but in no way will I trust it in any location that I need dependability.
