I love this set so much! It has been an excellent resource to use with my kindergartner. First of all, it is much larger than I expected. For young children learning to write, having larger lines is a plus. I also love the size of the 10 frame and magnet stars. The stars are a good size for small hands and you get 50 stars in multiple colors (10 red, 10 orange, 10 yellow, 10 green, 10 blue). They are a little thin, but they function just fine. They also come in a cute storage bag that’s actually good quality! A different reviewer complained about the stars not being strong magnets. This is not entirely accurate. They were attempting to put the stars onto the ten frame mat, but did not have the ten frame mat itself attached to anything magnetic. The mats themselves are NOT magnetic boards (like you’d picture a whiteboard to be), they are simply magnets with a surface that can be written on with a dry erase marker. Essentially the other reviewer was attempting to stick a magnet on top of a magnet, rather than onto a magnetic surface. (I digress… I just want to stand up for this product and feel bad their rating got knocked because of someone’s user error and misunderstanding!!). We personally place the mats onto our magnetic whiteboard. (You could also attach to an appliance). I am VERY impressed with the magnet strength of these mats. They adhere very easily, very smoothly (no awkward bubbles), and they stay in place (no frustrated kiddos when trying to interact with the board). My daughter can write on the mat or place the star magnets on the mat (to clarify, when the mat is attached to magnetic surface), without any trouble. The mats are easy to write on and easy to erase. So far I haven’t noticed any issues with the printed handwriting lines or ten frame lines being negatively effected by dry erase markers. My daughter loves getting to practice spelling, writing, and math in a fun and different way. I love having tools to help her practice skills in a fun and different way! I know in theory it’s the same as just using a piece of paper on the table, but shaking things up a little just makes it feel more exciting. I will note that this product DOES come rolled up, which made me nervous at first. I placed it under a heavy box to flatten it out before using, but after seeing how well the mat attaches, I’m honestly not sure flattening it out is 100% necessary. My only issue with the product is knowing how and where to store it. Not the product’s fault by any means. I just don’t have a big enough whiteboard to leave all 3 mats up at the same time! I love these mats so much!

I chose this set to use with our homeschool and I am very impressed with the quality and size. It's pretty much perfect. The only down side are the stars, they simple are not strong enough and do not stay on the boards. Despite what one review stated, it doesn't matter if the board is on a metal surface or not, the stars are just weak and fall off with the tiniest bump. They even fall off the fridge itself. The little bag to store them is a nice feature. I just wish they were stronger magnets. The boards themselves are great though. They are the perfect size for Kindergarden -2nd grade for practicing writing . We use the blank one for a scratch pad..so many uses. The math mat we honestly stopped using with the stars because out of all 3 mats, it happens to be the one they stick to the least. We decided to use that one as a chore chart and it works well for that. Overall it's a very nice product and I'd recommend it.

My kindergartener loves this! We got it for the house so she could practice her letters and numbers. She was struggling to get a few numbers and letters facing the correct way, so we thought this might be a great way for her to practice and easily wipe away and keep practicing. The quality of these magnets are amazing! They are very nice sturdy thickness. The white board material on the front wipes away perfectly and doesn’t leave any residue behind. They are the perfect size for our side by side fridge. The star magnets are great too. They aren’t as strong of a magnet as the main magnet, but they hold nicely on the fridge to help in counting and putting together math equations. I would definitely recommend this for any preschooler and/or any kid entering Kindergarten!

My wife was excited to use these for our youngest's learning time. My wife does early education and these are perfect for this type of usage. Unfortunately, mine did not have any of the multi-colored magnetic stars show in the pictures :-( Had this item not been sent for review reasons, it would have went back for an exchange or refund. Since I did not pay for it, I will review the items I got and like I said, the magnetic sheets are excellent quality and of a good size and to stick very well to our appliances. If you get everything shown, I imagine you'll be happy with it!

This is a set of three magnetic charts to affix to your classroom whiteboard. One of them has primary-sized handwriting lines, one is blank (white) for use with drawing pictures, and the third has two ten-frames on it (suitable for use with math). The magnetic charts are a little thinner than I was expecting and they arrived rolled up tightly in a small cardboard box. They have some crease/roll marks on them and will need to be laid out flat with something heavy on top of them before using on a whiteboard in order to flatten them out. I feel like they should have been packaged laid flat instead of rolled up, for this reason. They also have a distinctive plastic-chemical odor to them, which I am hoping will wear off soon. The magnetic charts are easy to write on and easy to wipe off, so no worries there. They are a little smaller than I had anticipated. In the pictures they looked larger and in the product title it says they are "giant." They are not! They are a little smaller than a 12 by 18 piece of construction paper. They will be fine to use with a small group, or if your students are sitting pretty close to the whiteboard. I would not use these with students who are seated at their desks or across the room from the charts because they may not be big enough to view properly from that distance. Oh, and they come with a cute little canvas drawstring bag that has quite a lot of small magnetic multi-colored stars in it that you can use as counters for the ten-frame chart. For the price, they are decent and functional!

This is perfect for little ones in school learning to write! It is very big so it gives them plenty of space to practice. It erases well and when it doesn't you can easily wipe it down with a wet paper towel and it's clean. Sticks very well to the fridge and hasn't budged since we placed it there.

I put these on my fridge for my son to play with while I work in the kitchen. He practices his letters and numbers and everything was easy to wipe off. I put the blank one as a notepad for my husband and I to use and so far it's been great- it has held up well to the fridge door constantly opening/closing, and I was even able to wipe away permanent marker with an alcohol wipe. I only wish this came with a magnetic dry erase marker!
