This Jaden‘s folded thermal paper works great! Crispy clean most importantly it lays flat and doesn’t feel cheap. It is a little thinner than a standard copy paper. It has a matte finish. It is a little pricey for printer paper, but I don’t intend on using the thermal printer on an every day use. Yes there are black rectangles at the top in the bottom on the back only. I don’t have an issue with it personally this isn’t the type of printer that I’m going to attempt to print something on the back. I used an ink pen and fine point sharpie. This is a of thermal paper. This thinner and smoother than regular paper, and also comes out of the printer rolled. Easy to put in and out of printer. The printer works great and never needs ink. But it’s not regular paper.
