    • Read and follow assembly instructions carefully.
Instructions should be in larger print. The best way to avoid collapse is to pay special attention to fully inserting tubes and just pushing them into place by hands alone does not get it done. Instead, after hand assembly, use a hammer to lightly drive the tubes until they are FIRMLY in place. I use this shelf as a closet pantry, so I added a 10 x 14 x 1/4 sheet of plywood to each shelf to allow cans, etc. to remain solidly level and easily moved on the surface and more stable when items need to be stacked. ... show more
