These bell covers are for an 8th grade band student. She was confident the improved sound would clinch the win in her challenge for first chair. Well, they failed in that regard, but they do let more sound through. They probably let more covid through too, but I have no proof of that.

    • ok....but....
seems to work fine and "do" everything it's supposed to. But, the sound is a little muffled (as you might expect). Plus, you have to "blow harder"....a little...to get the sound/tone you need. This might be a challenge for a young/beginner trumpet student of mine. Then again, maybe the result will be beneficial...he'll play with more energy. ... show more
