I keep my screws, bolts, washers, and such in bags and whenever I need something I usually just empty the bag. Now I can use these to easily gather everything and put it back into the bags without making a mess. Plus with the 30-inch telescoping I can get any that fall on the ground. Added a dab of loctite to each of the threads for the magnet heads, after doing so these were perfect and helped me retrieve countless lost tools and bolts from our car's underpans. Works good, Easy to use, Magnet strength is weak, Long enough to reach around a v12 engine and scrape around the bottom aero pan for those lost tools.

Spill a box of pins, loose a screw into a lower tight compartment, these are the tools you need. They have an incredible magnetic force capable of lifting fair size metal parts. The store easily and extend/retract for convenience. Came as a two pack but one is in my travel toolbox, the other in my workshop in the basement. Niche product but oh so useful when the situation arises.......

After reading the reviews, after purchase, I was afraid this was going to be a discard or return. I am pleasantly surprised. It is a very good product and performs well. It can pick up a heavy full size hammer and the extension works fine. I did epoxy the magnets in place. I am very happy with this purchase.

Item arrived with missing magnet on one of the heads. Bought this to replace a broken one and was hoping to have three varying strengths of magnetism. Was definitely disappointed when I saw that one had no magnet in the head. Also not a fan of the heads having to be screwed on instead of fixed. That was probably my fault for not watching the video they have but I don’t think they have anywhere saying it was screw on heads. I saw in other comments that they were missing magnets also so maybe more common quality control issues.
