Way bigger than most, like it's huge, and I LOVE that! Works very well, no complaints. However, remember that purple polish stains any nail mats easily so beware! This is one of the best things I have purchased to add to my growing collection of nail art supplies. I do my own manicures at home and I can't tell you how many times I have ruined a work surface with acetone. This gives me the peace of mind that when the acetone drips off a cotton ball or runs down the side of the bottle it isn't going to ruin my table. It is also a fantastic time saver for testing different polish colors out over the top of black or white. I don't have to take the time to paint a tester nail just to see what color it will end up. I haven't tried it for free hand nail art yet but I do plan to in the near future. It is extremely easy to clean and doesn't take up much space to store. It is about the size of a standard dinner table place mat so it makes for a good comfortable work area.

Thick but flexible. I have used acetone to clean up and works like a charm. So far no stains. The mat itself is a little small for my liking. Honestly I don't see needing the second mat but I guess you never know. I will say the design templates are rather useless. The art images are too big for most nails.

Before I bought this, I thought 'what good is this?' Now, I am like 'gosh, is this good', I love this mat. It's in nearly all my nail product review videos. I use everytime I'm testing products or designs. It's great for (but not limited to): Testing nail art and stamping, creating decals, keeping your work area clean, etc. There are many brands, but this mat is a great value for the money. I love that I can test out how my nail designs will look before I even paint my actual nail. They're so easy to clean, too. Just a little bit of 100% acetone and you're good to go. The mat is also helpful when you need to use acetone to clean your nails. I've spilled acetone so many times on so many surfaces but it doesn't matter if I spill on the mat because it won't hurt the mat like it does my other furniture.
