Overall, this product is pretty good. The lip stain itself is both waterproof and smudge proof and stays on for a long time. The applicator could be better, but it just makes putting the stain on a bit more tedious. The liner on the other hand is not good at all. It doesn't have the same pigment as the stain, it's very hard to apply, and it's not nearly as water and smudge proof as the stain. Besides that, it's good. The only other thing I'd mention is that the dark purple (# 20 and the one I have on in the pic) is very close to black when on the lips. (This is probably different depending on your skin tone, I just have pale skin) ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Pls read whole review! The end is very IMPORTANT! PLS First.. I didn't noticed the pencil had an attached sharpener which is awesome right? HOWEVER this is very disgusting and left me furious... Keep reading... I opened the package and was excited.. I took the lipstick paint out of the box and tried it on.. the color is absolutely beautiful, but it was somewhat tacky and differently would not last 24 hours and if you drink a lot of water this will come off very quickly.. if you have no drinks or food I'd give it 5 hours before it starts to peel off.. Now for the important part.. today I decided to use the pencil and when the cap feel off.. another cap came off and that's when I noticed it had a build in sharpener.. Cool! But than WOW the sharpener had been used before which means the lip pencil was used and possibly even the lip paint.. I'm very grossed out and disturbed by this as this is a serious health concern... Something like that can cause someone to get herpe virus cold sores.. Pls check your items before you use them.. No words can tell how upset I am. ... show more

This stuff is messy! It gets EVERYWHERE!! It could be a user error and I'm just not doing something right but I honestly don't know what that would be. It makes your lips feel dry and tacky and it almost seems flakey

I love the lip liner, it's a twist-up one so you don't need to sharpen it. And the lipstick is matte and very smudge-proof, I love it. I like using a gloss on top to make the color pop and to not look like my lips are dry, because sometimes matte lipsticks make your lips very obviously dry, but with a gloss on top, this still stays in place and doesn't roll off like some other matte lipsticks that dry. With a gloss you can still rub your lips together and it stays in place, it's kind of amazing for that. I love it.
