It's not very often you can say that a replacement to the OEM version of something is much better than the original, but with this battery, we can! Not only does the fit match exactly, it has DOUBLE the capacity of the original (3000 vs 1500 mAh). This is a reason alone to consider the upgrade, even if your battery still works. As for me, my original battery completely stopped working. Difficult to tell from the images, but the OEM battery had become swollen and would not hold a charge to even be able to turn on the unit. I could only turn the unit on when connected to the power cable. This replacement gave back the freedom of portability and it worked flawlessly. I just used a flat head screwdriver to assist in pulling the connector out and pushing it back in and I was ready to go. Very easy installation. Great value for 2 extended-capacity batteries. Even comes with the exact size screwdriver needed to open the battery compartment so you don't have to go finding the correct size.

I have had this installed for a few weeks now and it seems to be holding up well. Installation is super easy, just pop off the battery cover, unplug one thing, then plug the battery in and put the cover back on. The battery life seems just fine, and recharging has also worked fine. The price seems fine since you get two of them. I am happy with this battery and would recommend it.

Great for the Wii U gamepad and it makes reviving the life of a "forgotten" console, much easier. The Switch (and soon to be, Switch 2) is the newest console from Nintendo, but the Wii U is still great, and this lets you revive and prolong the life of the console. I like how this came with 2 batteries, so you can swap it out when the other dies.

My wiiU gamepad had become unusable (small battery and it got old) unless it was plugged in. Which basically renders theh gamepad not as functional as designed. Luckily I stumbled upon this listing. Putting it into my wiiU gamepad was pretty easy, and then I made sure to let it charge for a few hours. Once I was able to play a bit later that day I now had a fully functioning wiiU gamepad that didn't need to be plugged in to play.

I've only used one of these, but it seems to have a solid amount of charge (similar to the OEM one when it was newer I think). I had replaced the WII U gamepad battery about a year ago and that battery was already losing charge. This new one was very easy to slot in and so far, it seems to provide a good amount of power. Time will tell how many cycles this will last, but so far it seems to be doing well.

The missing piece to get the WiiU gamepad working. This particular pad had to be remade as it wasn't functioning. But the thing still wouldn't work even when plugged in. I tossed one of these batteries inside and it works perfect. Proper charging and lasts as good as the original so far.

The media could not be loaded. The Wii U batteries were terrible from day one of the console. It was flawed from factory and over charged the battery if you left it on the dock. Which resulted in bad batteries. Now this battery provides double the power and last hours longer than the original battery from factory. Easy to install as shown in the provided video. Best part about it there is two! Having a spare is piece of mind. Worst part about it if you can even complain is the plug is a little difficult to get in the terminal. Just be careful and you will be fine. Great Product! Highly Recommend! Also includes a throw away screw driver.
