I know this probably isn't a conventional use for this, but these are absolutely fantastic for weighing down spools used in 3D printing (more specifically, in my Bambu Lab's AMS). For this application, I would recommend 1.5". I have not had any issues with the finish or rusting. These came smooth and have a polished appearance.
