Good value for the price. Blades had burrs on them, but a quick honing made them sharp enough. They don't have caps so take care when handling, I wound up 3D printing some caps for them and have been a great addition.

I had high hopes for this wood marking knife based on the product description, but unfortunately, it fell far short of my expectations. The promises of durability, precision, and ease of use were all letdowns in reality. Firstly, The claim of "enhanced precision and superior control" couldn't have been further from the truth. The blade's dullness made it difficult to scribe precise lines, leading to uneven cuts and joints that didn't fit together properly. This not only wasted my time but also ruined the quality of my woodworking projects. The blade angles are not even symmetrical and the two blades don't even match. The "ultra-durable carbon steel" blade that was advertised turned out to be quite the opposite. After just a few uses, I noticed significant signs of wear and dullness. This resulted in inaccurate markings and a frustrating woodworking experience overall. I found myself having to sharpen the blade repeatedly, which defeats the purpose of a tool that's supposed to save time and effort. Additionally, the handle design, while described as "comfortable," felt anything but. The Padauk wood handle might look nice, but it's uncomfortable to grip for extended periods. This made the tool not only impractical but also painful to use and a bit short, further adding to my frustration. As for its suitability for different types of wood, I found that even with softer woods, the blade struggled to maintain a sharp edge. Using it on hardwoods like cherry and ash was an exercise in futility, resulting in even more imprecise markings and wasted materials. Considering the claims made in the product description, I am thoroughly disappointed in the performance and quality of this wood marking knife. It not only failed to live up to its promises but also hindered rather than helped my woodworking projects. I regret spending my hard-earned money on a tool that turned out to be nothing more than a disappointment. I would strongly advise against purchasing this item if you're serious about woodworking and value both your time and your results.
