I use this to clean my glass cooktop, but for those who are using this to make their own soap it is a great product. It comes in a bar of pre-grooved cubes similar to some of the chocolate bars out there which makes it easy to break off the cubes instead of having to cut a solid uniform bar into chunks. Using this pre-made base is much safer than making soap from scratch since dealing with lye is very dangerous. Here you just add oils, fragrances, flower petals, or anything else you want in your homemade soap bars. There is no noticeable odor to it so it will easily absorb the odors of the oils and fragrances you choose to add. The white color is a pure white, not an off white or yellowed white so that gives full flexibility for the desired end product color. This is a nice soap base. It melts decently and casts well with a decent clarity. The scoring makes dividing it easier for melting. The price is not bad, maybe a tad high. You can find bases for cheaper but I wouldn't expect the same quality.

This was my first time trying melt and pour soap and I will never go back to mixing lye and oils ever again! I had soap one hour later. AND SUCH CUTE soap! This is perforated into chunks; you stick it in the microwave, stir it up with a few drops of essential oil and pour. You're done! Soap hardens in an hour or less, just as it cools. I like that it is in cubes that makes it so much easier to cut off what you want for a batch. I do feel like it is a bit more expensive for the amount you receive than other soap bases I have used. High quality with a low neutral odor. We found it was easy to add scent and colors.

This soap base is made in China and doesn't list the ingredients on the package or on the listing. It does have a picture of a coconut on the front so maybe it has coconut oil in it. And maybe it has glycerin in it since it's in the title. It is divided into easy to break off squares. Without the ingredients listed, I won't use it for soap so I'm not sure what to do with it . ... show more

This is an amazing soap base! I love how it has a grid already for cutting into small pieces since sometimes chopping soap can be difficult! Almost completely unscented so your able to add any smell and it will do good! Melts fairly quick and does have an easy guide to follow!❤️
