these are just awesome ive had them 2 months in hot conditions and my feet feel great wearing them.s. I bought 5 different pairs of socks to compare in a hot arid environment in my combat boots on a deployment. im a pog that builds stuff so they put in work. these hold snug to calf dont sag, keep my feet dry, i can run jump do whatever and feel comfy all day long. they feel dirtier when you pull em off otherwise no complaints I would totally by this style again the other socks are as follows pay attention to material when you buy socks how they hold and ease of removal play a huge difference under armout heat gear tactical boot sock easily my favorite but these are right behind Darn Tough Tactical Boot Cushion Sock- these are pricey! they felt to tight the first few times but broke in nicely no complaints this far very comparable to the other two thus far. these do have a lifetime guarantee I dont think the others do I find my self gravitating to the first 3 brands until laundry day then ill have to wear the others below FoxRiver Men's Wick Dry Stryker Mid-Calf- these are super comfy but THICK not a summer sock. they can bunch up in certain environments and sag on the calf. Military Wick Dry Maximum Mid Calf Boot Sock-- i bought this one by accident i have the green version loved them on my first deployment then after 4 months they were just Meh. the material in them is not as much spandex so taking them off is kinda a pain in the ass. they feel good but really start to sag after a few weeks. this is by far the least favorite of the bunch

Very comfortable socks and perfect for warm environments. I am a size 7 in women’s and ordered a small. They did fit a bit big at first. After I washed and dried they did shrink a bit and fit perfect. They have some stretch so even if they shrink a bit they should fit well on people who are on the larger side of the size range. Will order again.

I'm a firefighter and I need socks on a regular basis. I have been a darn tough loyalist when it comes to the thick and durable sock for woodland fires, but they were a little much for station life. I found these and they're super comfortable in my station boots and during a quick change into my bunker gear they work great and stay comfortable. I have bought several more 4-packs since my first purchase so that I have extras because I will go through 3 socks a day (training, fires, end of day, any thing requiring a shower after). My only complaint is that I haven't found them in black or grey because otherwise I would work out with them but green socks don't work well with dark blue uniform items haha. Great sock. would recommend 100%

Very cool looking sock but unfortunately the material or both the way its made make the socks frail material fall apart. Also they will shrink quite a bit after wash. At the risk of making this review seem artificial, I wont say the brand of the best socks I've found on here. I'll just say there made in America and you definitely don't need to order a size up!!

Choosing the right type of socks is a big deal for hiking. I’ve got these calf boot socks for our third trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. Anobody who’s been there, knows that exploring the scenary of 14ers is very cool, but also very challenging. Proper trekking socks is a must have, by all means. The first two things I’ve remarked about my new socks: they kept tight on my feet and they didn’t stink when I took my boots off. Feet were comfortable and didn’t overheat, and the skin didn’t itch. With these socks trekking felt less tiresome. After 7 days of hiking Colorado 14ers, by trekking socks looked in a very good condition. I highly recommand them to all hiking lovers.

My husband wears a very heavy safety boot when on job sites and has worn wool work socks for more than 25 years. I was pretty sure he wasn't going to like these - but I was flat out WRONG. These are his NEW go-to sock. He likes that they are thinner than the heavy wool boot socks he used to wear. He like that the top covers most of his calf (just under his knee) and says they feel almost like a compression sock and he likes that snug feel. Having said that, they are NOT difficult to put on - slides right on and off. The are fitted around the foot and heel. They are a lighter military fatigue green. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful and in this case, it will be interesting to see how they last - washing and drying went well the first time - but after some time and wear? Only time will tell. And socks are... lets face it - personal. Not every one would love these, but my hard working husband does. I will probably order more of these soon. UPDATE: 6/2/2019... I just purchased 15 more pair for my husband. He is replacing all his old work socks with these.
