I am not super handy in relation to fixing things, though i did work in a maintenance department at a hotel during college. I requested to move to that department from the front desk so i could learn basic handyman skills. During that time i began collecting my own tools. Many years later, i now have a nice tool bag, with an additional side roll-up style bag for household or auto repairs. One of the tools that i noticed taking up a lot of room in my main bag; was a level of the traditional design. That style of of course, involved a large piece of plastic that was about the size of a ruler; and that's the small version. That bulky tool always ended up out of my toolbox and in the closet, or under the bed due to its awkward size. I am aware there are laser based alternatives, though i have never been into that because my cat Moon Biscuit will chase the laser. This then will cause a potentially dangerous situation; where a cat is flying through the air chasing a laser as i am trying to take a measurement. I am naturally very excited to see this interesting take on the level from the Kingcraft brand. Not only do you receive a neat foldable level that has a nice red metallic paint the with a mechanical type pen and precision rods, there i a cool looking zip up case with a handle. The foldable design then with that case makes this super easy to place in your toolbox. This revolutionizes space when compared to a non foldable alternative. I can even fit this into a side pocket on my main tool bag. I love how this thing is magnetic so you can attach your screws to it then have them their as you are hanging a picture. I have paintings and other things hanging on every inch of my walls so i will be using this often when it is time to change up the themes. I like how this can be folded around a corner. That is beneficial if you are mounting a shelf that extends around a corner of a wall. I am about to mount a bookshelf that will do just that and need a handy level like this one. I like how there are three locations of the liquid indicators with the bubble, that are so important when finding that perfect level. To conclude, i am very happy with this tool and recommend it to anyone who is into making their tool bag or tools in genera,l more compact and therefore space friendly.

Was pleasantly surprised to see that this came with an attractive carrying case. Mechanical pencil and a generous supply of spare pencil leads in a separate case. The hinges were very tight but it looks like that’s by design for repeated use I’m sure they’ll loosen up after time. This way they won’t be too loose. Convenient hanger on each end in case you want to hang it on your pegboard in your shop. Otherwise the carrying case is perfect for compact storage. Easy to read with good contrast between the liquid and the bubble. Overall great product especially for the price.

This is a great addition to any contractors tool box or really any home! It makes making level angles much easier. It comes in a nice zip up carrying case and folds up simply to be put back into the case after use. ( Not like one of those items you can get out of the case but not back in!! ) It includes a mechanical pencil and refills. The only thing I can tell you that I struggled with is, the hinges are very stiff and you definitely need to put some muscle into unfolding and re-folding it.

This level is well made and stored in very nice case. Included in the case is a mechanical pencil with seven full length leads for using to mark the level on the wall. The five sections of the level unfold to a 28 in. level. There are two horizontal , one vertical, and one 45 deg. bubble levels. Unfolding the level is initially very difficult because the joints are very tight. They loosen up with use. The interesting thing is that the level does not have to be unfolded to be used for taking a measurement. They can follow the contour of the surface you are taking the measurement on. The level seems to be accurate because the two horizontal bubbles, which are at the last segments of the level, read exactly the same if the level is completely folded or completely extended.

This level is quite an interesting concept. Having it articulate opens up many new possibilities that a normal straight level could never do. I love the way it goes around a corner! The flexible joints are very strong and they stay where they are set. The sight glasses are really nice, clear and easy to read the bubble with a blue liquid background. Everything fits perfectly in the supplied zippered hard case that is covered with a good fabric. They also included a mechanical marking pencil with plenty of refills. It seems as if they worked hard to produce this great tool.

I love this level because it is so practical. It works so much better than a long one. This one is easier to handle and I like that it comes in a case. It is so much easier to store since it comes with a little case.

This is a quality tool. Well made. The hinges are nice and stiff so the level will not move around when trying to use it. Once you set it, it stays in that shape. Because it folds up it is easy to store and carry. Recommend it.
