I took this vehicle to my local indoor carpet track, it’s very top heavy and will traction roll on the lowest speed setting. It’s quick but I don’t think it’s 25 mph fast even on a new battery with the speed turned all the way up. That being said I think it’s home is going to be in the driveway or road in front of the house or even the infield of a baseball field. Due to the small tire size it couldn’t make it through the grass. I own 1/8, 1/10, 1/16 and 1/18 scale rc vehicles and this is smaller than my 1/18 scale buggy so I would say the true scale of the vehicle is closer to 1/20-1/24. It claimed it comes with extra body clips, mine did not. I got extra screws (no idea what those are for though) within 1 or 2 traction rolls at the track we lost a body clips, within the 1st battery we lost a 2nd body clip (they used larger scale body clips so they fit super loose) if you plan to get this make sure you get body clips tethers as well! You’ll need them for this. Within that 1st battery as well the truck just randomly shut off twice. Couldn’t figure out why it shut off, hit the power button and it turned right back on ready to go. Overall I think it’s an ok little truck… it has parts that you can fix things if they break but it’s just Phillips screws into plastic so plan on it being disposable once something major breaks. For the money I would suggest spending a little more and going arrma grom (great all around vehicle), losi mini or micro (great intro to racing, not durable like the grom or latrax) or latrax (decent all around vehicle)

Awesome RC car, very fast, super suspension, very sturdy construction so it can take a lot of abuse. Remote has a long range, great for kids and adult kids. Unit comes with a couple of AA batteries and a set of rechargeable batteries. Recharging is with a usb so you won't have to keep track of an AC adapter (nice feature). It is priced right and is worth the money. Note that the car comes with one body, the add on Amazon shows a picture of two different colored car bodies so be a ware of that. In all it's a lot of fun for a grandpa like me and grandson.

Searched for months to find a backyard warrior for my 12yo that wouldn't break the bank. This RC truck checks EVERY box: full metal gearbox handles our rocky terrain, 3-speed modes let my rookie start slow (now he's racing at full throttle!), and the oil-filled shocks eat up jumps like a pro. Bonus - replacement parts are cheaper than pizza night! We've crashed into trees, flipped it in mud puddles, and it just keeps going. Forget overpriced brands - this is the real MVP for kids transitioning from toy-grade RC. Already planning to buy another for little brother's birthday!

Our yard turns into a mud pit after rains - finally found an RC that thrives in it! Waterproof electronics let my twins chase each other through puddles, while the aluminum drive shafts haven't bent despite 10+ collisions with our porch steps. Love the training mode (slows it to walking speed) for nervous first-timers. Two batteries = 40min non-stop chaos! If your kid outgrows toy store RC cars but isn't ready for nitro madness, this is THE upgrade. PS: Dog hates it, kids adore it!
