I bought this fence for my garden. It not only looks great but is very sturdy too. It’s holds up against rabbits who are trying to break in and eat my vegetables and that’s saying a lot because those creatures are very determined and have become big pests. I finally got the right fence to keep them out and it looks great doing it. It keeps the out even at the point where the two pieces join because they join tightly and in such a way to keep each piece close to the other. Great design! I’m very happy with this purchase. I might buy some more for another garden of mine.

I got these barricades to protect an oak seedling that I recently planted in our woods. I love living in a semi-wild setting with lots of wildlife nearby, but I try to protect newly planted trees from rabbits and deer. So I always put a plastic mesh fence around each new tree. On uneven ground, however, gaps often exist between the bottom of the mesh and the ground. So to prevent rabbits from ducking under the mesh, I get barricades like these to block the gaps. I’ve used similar barricades made by two other manufacturers. Each brand seems a bit different. I particularly like two features about these barricades: • These barricades are taller than the other barricades I’ve tried. These are 17 inches tall vs. 12 inches and 15 inches. The extra height was a significant help in spots where quite a gap existed between the mesh and the uneven ground. • These barricades each have a small hook on one side and a circle on the other side. This allows you to hook the barricades together by putting the hook on one barricade into the circle on the next barricade. (The product description calls the hook a “button,” but it works like a hook.) For ease of use, you’ll probably want to push each barricade into the ground separately and then line up the next barricade in the sequence. You don’t have to hook them together, but it’s nice to have the option. On the negative side: • The gaps between the prongs on these barricades are a bit wider than those on other barricades I’ve used. The slightly wider gaps concern me a little. I’ve seen baby rabbits in the yard recently, and I’m concerned that they might be small enough to fit through those gaps. • Also, I wish the prongs on these barricades weren’t all the same length. I’ve found that barricades that have alternating lengths on the prongs are easier to insert into the ground. Even though the ground was a bit soft because of recent rain, pushing some of these barricades into the ground took a little oomph. All in all, however, I’m cautiously optimistic that these barricades will help my little seedling grow into a mighty oak.

8 lb rescue Yorkie was able to squeeze through picket fence when she saw a dog on the other side. We had her a month before this happened. Her body looked too big to get through but she was determined. These panels are sturdy and connect easily. She has since tried when dogs go by and can't find a way to get through.

I recently bought this garden fence, and I'm really pleased with it. Installing it was a breeze and didn't take much time at all. The height is just right for what I need, and it fits perfectly around my garden. One of the best things about this fence is how well it keeps my dog and wild animals away from my plants. My dog used to dig around the garden, and I had trouble with small critters eating my veggies. Since putting up this fence, those problems are gone. It's been a great addition to my garden, and I couldn't be happier with how it looks and works.

I have tried several sets of these small fence borders but this is the only one with hooks built in to connect the together. It made installation quicker but also made them not as sturdy. Others that are placed flush and then strapped together are a bit sturdier. I guess it depends on the use. Also, you have to have them lined up perfectly to use the hooks and the ground sometimes makes that difficult. They work better and look better in a circle. They are kind of rickety in a straight line unless right up against something. Either way, they get the job done. Three bucks a panel seems to be about the average rate on Amazon.
