We made this into an enclosure for our small dogs. It looks nice & is high & sturdy enough to keep them safe. I spent a ton of time researching to find the best for our dogs & this one is the winner!!

UPDATE LEFT THESE UP OVER WINTER. We got about 18" of snow and that ended up BENDING some of these. Knocking a star off for that if you are using these to edge a flower bed then they are fine. They install by using a rubber mallet to pound in separate stakes which is much easier than trying to hammer in a single piece with feet. The stakes are not going to bend. The fence panels on the other hand are of a lower quality thin wire compared to what you would buy at a big box store. You could bend them with your hands. Therefore the idea that they would protect from a dog who was determined to get into a flower bed seems unlikely. If you had a VERY SMALL VERY LAZY dog, then they might keep them out of your flower beds. However, they are a fraction of the cost (the one I initially purchased at my big box store was $20/piece which would have come to $300 for 15 panels). They are also less attractive than some others with a simple design as opposed to scrolls or whatnot, but again, for $70 v $300 I can live with that. The quality of the coating is not good. It is VERY thing so much so that even using a piece of cardboard on top of the stakes while hammering them in it still chipped away. The stakes also are not uniformly coated. Thus my hopes for the coating providing any rust protection are minimal at best. I am toying with the idea of taking the fence down each winter as it is so easy to install and would store in a minimal amount of space. The simple design does blend in with my flower bed which is what i wanted as I'm using these to edge my sidewalk so the plants do not obstruct foot traffic. 24" is not that high but I wanted to be able to easily reach over them to weed. I initially ordered the 13" and they are REALLY short and would not be functional so get out a yard stick and measure FROM THE GROUND UP before selecting your size.
