I got these to cover a few places along the fence where my small dog was slipping through. They work perfect for this application but installation was an issue. In the places where the soil was compacted it was a struggle to get them in the ground without bending the legs. Once the soil was wet the legs slid right in. These are best for light duty areas. They look great and work great if you have soft dirt. If your yard has hard-packed dirt or rocks below the surface, it's fairly hard going. The stakes and rails bent under the pressure of my rubber mallet, but I eventually got them installed. The clips to connect them were tricky to use. If I put them on before pushing them in, the sections tended to come disconnected. If I waited until after the installation to add the clips on, I found that the sections were too far from each other for the clips to work. All of that is probably an issue with the hardness of my dirt. If you have soft dirt, I don't believe these things would be an issue. For me, I could have used a thicker gauge on the stakes, but I got them installed, and they look nice and unobtrusive next to my chain link fence. ... show more

I’ve been using a plastic gate to protect my garden in the spring from dogs & other animals but they didn’t hold up. These are good quality gates & have good height. They were very easy to install. The spikes makes it easy to go into the dirt. I used a rubber mullet to help with the installation. Now I’m gonna get my plants & hopefully have a great bloom without dogs going in the garden pooping & trying to hide their poop with the kickback of dirty lol ... show more

Unless you have a tiny space that needs fencing you'll need more than one pack. My soil isn't particularly soft or free of rocks so you'll want to chop up/churn up your soil if you want to push it in further to show less. Also, the clips are okay for connecting the pieces but mostly annoying. I wish they were a little easier to put on and actually stayed. They were kinda easy to bump off which was frustrating. Overall, the product is as described...my biggest question is always how long before it rusts. The coating seems good so fingers crossed. ... show more
