My 4 year old granddaughter and my 1 1/2 year old grandson love this little atv. It is the perfect size for them. It has 2 speed settings so it will give them years of use. Right now they are in the slowest setting. The fast setting is pretty fast so it will keep their interest as they get bigger. My grandson just holds on and I control the atv with the remote or he sits on the back while my granddaughter drives. As soon as the throttle is disengaged it stops which is a nice safety feature and the remote can be used to stop the unit for even more safety. The steering is limited so the atv cannot turn too sharply and flip over. The assembly instructions are not super clear but assembly was pretty straightforward. I chose this one over a different model because of the remote control and am happy I did.
