We actually bought 2 of these and the other one caught on fire while my 5 year grandson was driving it. Scared the heck out of him and me!! But for this go cart, within 6 months the tires stopped working correctly and just made a grinding noise when he would push the pedal. They are made in China, so it's impossible to get any help with it and Amazon said there is no warranty. Don't waste your money!! we spent $350 with S&H and wished we would have bought from an American company.

We love this go cart! I was looking for a go cart that could grow with my 7 year old. All the others seemed to small or for adults. This one is perfect. We got it for Christmas and it’s still going strong. She rides it almost everyday. It’s so much fun. Even I have ridden it. Customer service is awesome as well and was very responsive to my questions.

Update: Found the issue, it was not an overheating issue it had to do with the on/off switch which is located by the seat. The switch failed and I assume because it was depressed to hard several times. I troubleshot all the wiring on the kart and finally found it to be at this switch. So I removed this switch, I also moved the circuit board and mounted it higher so it can receive more airflow. Finally I then added 24V kobalt batteries as they charge must faster and were off to the races now! This kart was so fun, great for drifting, goes pretty fast, had a ton of fun with it until it apparently started overheating which fried the main circuit board. At least that's what my assumption is. I purchased a replacement board and some other parts. When I took it apart, disconnected the main board and ran power to each of the motors directly, they spun just fine, so the only issue I can think of is the board overheated and fried. This seems to happen with a lot of these Ride on toys, these controllers can handle the heat and they place them right next to the motors and batteries which of course all produce a lot of heat. I'll get my parts this weekend, hopefully it does the trick!

Impressed me with it's speed and power. Got it for my 6 year old's bday. Everyone in the family, adults included took a turn, as I was impressed in it's ability to go full speed with anyone. I'm 180 lbs and I cruised around full speed in a grassy yard and pavement, drifting and having no issues while being over the weight limit. It drives great on gravel, grass and bumpy ground. It's been a month now and nothing has broken. My only gripe is the front body section forward of the steering wheel comes off sometimes when riding on bumping terrain. Easy to rectify and purely cosmetic at that.

This was my son’s dream toy and he loved it so much. We live next to a concrete bike path and he drive it up and down the path in sheer joy. Unfortunately 3 weeks in it started to jerk as it drove. Then a few days later it wouldn’t even turn on. Having been a mechanic in the Marines I did my best to figure out the problem, but couldn’t. I reached out to Amazon and the contact for the manufacturer. I have never received a reply from the manufacturer after two months of trying. So three weeks is the life of this kart. What a waste of money.

If I could do 3 1/2 I would. The go kart is super cute but I am still sitting on the floor with a back that’s killing me fighting for my life with this nut to secure the screw for the steering wheel. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get in there. The instructions are not great either.
