I use my Vine access to create informative reviews. It is my honest, uncompensated opinion. I bought these for landscape lighting. It is a 2 wire system, so no need for ground. It is UL listed and carries the appropriate marking. That reassurance is important to me. Output was tested on a multimeter and registered a true 12V DC. When dimming, it did not cause flickering, and dimming was smooth. At prolonged maximum brightness, it did not get very warm. It claims that it is suitable for damp locations, but carries no IP certification. It comes with screws to use in the 2 mounting ears, and comes with three snap connectors for the line voltage input, which makes installation quick and easy. This would be excellent in under-cabinet lighting or similar applications due to its small size, tolerance of dampness, easy mounting and dimmability. Just make sure that your total LED load does not exceed 60 Watts. Do not use it outdoors without an enclosure that meets code.

Picked this up for a modest little LED conversion project — just swapping out two 20W over-stove G4 halogens with LEDs — and I’ll be honest, this 60W dimmable driver was probably way more power and functionality than I strictly needed (especially since I’m not even dimming them). That said… it was still kind of perfect. The form factor was ideal for the space I had to work with, and the build quality feels solid and dependable. The included 3-way connectors made the whole hookup process smooth and drama-free — definitely appreciated when you're crouched behind a stove trying not to drop tiny screws down a vent. While it’s probably better suited for more demanding or dimmable LED setups, I have zero complaints — it’s quietly doing its job, no flickering, no weird buzzing, and the LEDs run cool and clean. If you’re doing anything in the 40–60W range or just want headroom for future upgrades, this is a great plug-and-play transformer.

VEURCHY 12V Dimmable LED Driver 60W UL Listed I recently replaced the Halogen bulbs in a fixture with MR16 LED bulbs. However, when dimming, there is a slight flicker/strobing effect that is really annoying. I replaced the original 120vAC to 12vAC transformer with this Veurchy 120vAC to 12vDC LED driver, and now there is no more flicker. Though this did not fit perfectly, it is smaller and lighter than the original unit, and will do just fine. They include three double electrical connecters that made the job easier (though I only needed two of them, the third will go in my junk drawer for a possible future use) This unit is on the higher end of the price point compared to similar units, at 37 bucks at the time of my review.

Have several LED light projects I am working on and thought this would be a useful unit. Not high quality as far as construction, but good enough for it's purpose. Comes with wire connectors as well. Only thing, it's awful expensive for a simple, plain medium quality dimmer.

I needed a compact LED controller to hook up light strips under my kitchen cabinets. This thing fit the bill perfectly. It is compact but solid and does the trick. I especially like that you can attach a dimmer to dim the lights. I have had no issues with it so far and would purchase this item again.

I used it for a 24V 3m string of LEDs. The strip was VERY bright at that current, without a dimmer. It may not be as efficient as some, because other larger switching transformers only drew 1.75A driving the same LED strip, while this one drew 2.15A. It is meant for hardwiring, not plugging into the wall, so has bare wires on both input and output. But I tested it by just wiring a 2-prong plug to the input wires and a 2.1mm DC plug to the output (to make it easier to disconnect from the LED strip).

Easy install, only four wires and all of them color-coded for easy installation. It's working flawlessly with our dimmer switch and LED under cabinet lighting. This product comes with high-quality wiring terminals and fixing screws, and the design of the two end leads makes it very convenient to fix it at the bottom of the cabinet. Connected everything in less than 15 minutes.
