I would call this one option. There are several products using the ability to stick something through a chain link fence's design to provide some privacy. Overall, the degree of privacy provided with this tape is pretty good, and looks pretty good too. However, if you have a lot of area to cover it can be a tedious task. In fact, I changed my mind and opted to not to go through with it. But that's me.

I waited a few weeks to write this review. I'm in a place with hot summers. It could be my fault, but the pesky two-part snaps to hold the tape in place were hard to secure, and a lot of the snaps fell out within days of installing. It could have been the heat, it could be the wind. There is a goodly amount of tape, and scissors work fine to cut it to length. I have 2 backyard neighbors. All but this one back corner neighbor shares a "good neighbor" cedar fence, but this neighbor has 6' tall chain link, I think due to keeping two small yappy dogs in the yard whenever it is above freezing. This plastic tape reduced the amount of barking I get, so I consider it a win. It is quite a lot of trouble to install solo, and if I was doing it again I might have used a different method to block out the dog's view of my backyard. Before it gets cold, I'll be using black nylon zip-ties to secure the tape. If I was doing again I wouldn't used the snaps at all, and would leave enough slack to secure the bottom end with a zip tie as well, Evecad's price of 31.99 for 246 feet of tape seems like a fair price.

Makes cycline fence look nicer. Looks durable and thick to last a long time. Easy to install just time consuming but worth it.

This item is a privacy screen to add to chain link fencing. It comes with everything you need to install. The install can be a bit tedious, but is easier with two people. To install, you weave the screen through the chain link fence and loop at the end. Using the included punch you make two holes a few inches apart, pull the end around and use the included hole clips to secure through the holes you just made. It does take a fair amount of dexterity to secure. People with low hand eye coordination or arthritis in the hands will have a difficult time installing. This is a very decent item but could have been better by putting a texture on the hole clips. The hole clips are smooth to the point of being slippery which makes them hard to hold onto and secure. The manufacturer did include more of these clips than I needed, so the few that I lost in the process are not really an issue. At this time, none of the hole clips have come off and seem to stay secured. All in all, this is a very decent product and is worth the retail price. ~Cheers DtS
