  • Excellent charger. Does 12v, 9v, 5v with proper device and cable.
Excellent charger. Does 12v, 9v, 5v with proper device and cable. Note the charge voltage is set by the DEVICE BEING CHARGED and NOT the charger. The most I could get out of the "65W" USB-C port was 18 watts. This was charging a generic 20000mAh power bank. I measured 9V@2A (18 watts). The current would drop off once it got to 80% and then only charged at about 1A (9watts). Note this is controlled by the device being charged. On a 50k power bank, I was able to get 12V@2A (24watts) on the "65W" USB=C port. I have no doubt a MacBook or other device with the PD3.1 or PD4 logic could charge at a higher rate. I was able to charge two power banks at 18 watts each simultaneously. Note I only charged two at a time because that is all I had. Lastly, the charger is missing a base, so it tends to slide around on the table top. Other chargers of this type included a mini stand to hold the charger upright. ... show more

  • Consolidated several power bricks
We consolidated several other power bricks into this single one so that we could free up some sockets. having both USB with high power throughput allows are devices to charge quickly so this is sitting in an area where we charge laptops and phones regularly through the day. Seems to work great.

  • only delivers 100W to Macs
I've had it for a few months so far and it has proven to be fairly reliable. The only reason I took off a star is because despite advertising that the charger can deliver 140W on the primary port and claiming that it's MacBook Pro compatible, it will only charge at 100W and not the advertised 140W. It does work with all my tech though. ... show more

  • It charges to the correct wattage
It’s so hard to find a charger that charges to what it is advertised to charge to but this one does.

  • Doesn't work with Lenovo Slim Pro 9i, doesn't do 20V 7A
It only charges 100w or 20v 5a, it doesn't do 20v 7a with my lenovo.

  • Charges well
But the bright light on the front is a nuisance at night and the included "stand" isn't really useful and fall off easily.

  • A very large but very versatile charger
So the is a proper charger that does 140W on the topmost USB-C port, I tested this with my Macbook Pro 16 2021 and confirmed that it does receive 140W when using the magsafe cable. It also does maintain 140W regardless of how the other ports are being used, which is pretty nice (even though the Macbook Pro 16 doesn't need all 140W). It can do 140W+100W on only the USB-Cs, or 140W+60W+22W+22W if any of the USB-A ports are being used. The USB-As do support 5V4.5A charging in addition to 12V1.5A, 9V2A, and 5V3A, so if you have still have a Huawei device (or more likely, an OnePlus/Oppo device) you can take advantage of the high current fast-charging of those devices. Compared to the 140W charger that comes in the box from Apple, it's a bit larger. However it technically is a 140W charger and another 100W charger, so when you combine a charger size of both, it would've been of similar size. One of the flat sides of the charger has 4 small rubber feet for the charger to be used horizontally, but there's also a very small stand with a rubber surface if you want to rest the charger on the surface. The build quality feels very solid, and even though the configuration isn't the best for charging an entire Apple ecosystem (because Apple doesn't support USB-A QC standard, but the USB-C PD standard, and the USB-As would've been better if they were 9V2.2A USB-C ports), it's still a very versatile charging station if you have a modern Android phone. The price at the time of this review it's $90 with a 10% off coupon, which is actually not bad, given Anker's Apple alternative at this time costs $100 with a 20% off coupon and only has a single 140W USB-C port. If you just needed a 140W charger, this is probably not for you, but if you need the clearly outlined capabilities of the charger, you probably know who you are and this works very well for that use case. ... show more
