  • Easy set up and runs quiet.
Style: 2450W-Dual Fuel
Easy setup and start. Added 12oz of 10W 30 and used propane to run it. It started fine with just two pulls. The manual is well written and includes simple instructions. Ran a 1500w hair dryer and the noise did increase, but it was not bad. Switched to 750w in Eco mode, and it was very quiet. Overall, in the short run, I plan to use it for charging batteries when my solar panels are weak due to lack of sun. Even comes with an oil funnel and spark plug wrench. Long term may change this opinion so we shall see. ... show more

  • It generated
Style: 2450W-Dual Fuel
Worked good, I actually had to use it today after it showed up due to lack of power. Started on the third pull, I used propane so no issues with that, it did come with a nice pressure regulator and hose. I ran it for about 4 hours initially, ran good. It's quieter than the open frame style older model generators for sure. I used Motul 10-40 break in oil , I would recommend that just because it's a new motor, that has zinc and other things in it that will help with seating everything. I'll do an update in a few months but initial impressions were good ... show more

  • Generator just arrived
Style: 2450W-Dual Fuel
I received the Poxurio DK2450iAED generator yesterday (11/15/2025) after ordering it only about four days before. I live in South Florida and was looking for a small duel-fuel inverter generator that was about 2000 watts output, quiet and very fuel efficient to offset my loud and gas guzzling 10 kilowatt Gentron generator. This one seemed to fit the bill and when I saw that it had been marked down about $100, I decided it was time to buy it. It was well packed in the box and came with a hose and regulator for the propane, an oil funnel, a Phillips head screwdriver and a spark plug socket. As a side note, the socket on the spark plug wrench seemed to be a little bit large for the spark plug that was installed and I will probably use a better fitting spark plug wrench with an extension if I ever need to remove the spark plug. Also, I read the manual but could not find out how much oil to add to the engine. I finally decide to just go ahead and add enough oil from a 5 gallon oil container to bring the engine to the recommended filling level. Looking at the 5 gallon container after filling the engine to the recommended level, I imagine I had added just a little less than one quart. After I had added the oil to the proper level according to the dipstick, I read on the outside of the shipping box that the engine took 0.09 gallons of oil (5.76 oz.). I believe this information, which is printed on the box, is wrong. So be sure to add enough oil so that the engine was properly filled according to the dipstick! After adding the oil, I flipped to open the valve on the gasoline filler cap, filled it up with gasoline, choked it and pulled the starter cord. It started on the first pull. It was so quiet I could barely believe it. I was used to my old 10 kilowatt non-inverter generator. This DK2450iAED generator was so quiet, I did not to have to wear noise reducing ear muffs around it and could easily talk with my wife when we were standing only 5 feet from it. Measured noise level at 23 feet was 60 to 61 dB and when put in ECO mode was 55 to 56 dB. This is very close to advertised 58 dB. I had a hard time figuring out how to run through the 3 readouts of the generator’s meter, as instructions for going through the available parameters were not in the user manual. I finally figured out that you can scroll through the voltage, frequency and run time by pushing on the tiny button in the right lower corner on the rim of the meter. It showed a voltage of 124 volts, frequency of 60 cycles and time running of one hour. I measured the frequency and voltage with independent meters and they were both exactly the same as the generator’s meter readings. It is certainly light enough to pick up but I wouldn’t want to have to carry it for any long distance. The handle does make it easy to lift but putting it in the back of a pickup would generally require 2 hands. It is a little bulky to carry for distances of say, greater than 60-70 feet. (I’m 72 years old so that may be a function of age!) I did run the generator dry and then drained the bowl as suggested in the instruction manual. I was very surprised at how much gas was left in the bow even after the generator had stopped because of lack of fuel. A word to the wise, drain the bowl! And be careful removing the side panel. There were four screws that hold the panel on but there are also three tabs. The two side tabs popped out fairly easily but the top tab was more difficult. I pulled the panel away from the generator and then twisted it 90 degrees and the panel popped right off. I’m not sure it was designed to do this but it seemed to a lot easier than fighting with the top tab in its usual position. The side panel popped back on and into place easily when you lined up the tabs and replaced the panel.. I have not yet tried to run the generator on propane but it certainly doesn’t look like there should be any problems with that. Also, I am looking forward to seeing how fuel efficient it is. I am going to be emailing the company to ask if there is a break in period. With today’s machining and tight tolerances, I would hope that there is little to none. Overall, I am more satisfied with the generator thus far. I hope that it turns out to be as durable as it is quiet. ... show more
