I have a dog who is a cross between a hound and a pit bull. Hound gives him urge to go exploring and follow his nose. Pit bull gives him the muscle to take a two inch gap and make it eight so he can wiggle through. The bottom of our chain link fence was looking very bad. I tie this to the fence about two feet up, tuck it underneath the fence, walk round to the outside of the fence, walk the bit that touches the ground down to meet the ground irregularities with body weight, then use galvanized landscape staples to secure the back side, along with some rocks. From any distance away, it's an invisible fix, he can't get under it, and the black hardware cloth goes nicely with our black chain link fence. There's enough in the roll to patch anywhere else he finds, plus to use to squirrel proof our bulbs next spring. This is really useful stuff! ... show more

We purchased this mesh to screen off the bottom of our deck from a pesky skunk. It was pretty easy to work with and allowed me to work around the deck posts, etc. to get things closed up and secure. The first night the skunk came by, we saw it go right to the spot where it had been entering in the past, saw the fence and turned away! The wire Mesh is very good. I have a minor complaint, it was only 24 ft 7 inches long not quite the full 25 ft. I needed to make 16 panels each of which would be the full 4 foot width and exactly 18 3/4 inched long which i would have gotten if it was the full 25 foot length.

I used this to keep rabbits out of my vegetable garden. It works and looks nice. I applied to posts with little single screw wrap-around hooks. Looks nice, works nice. Should stand-up over time due to PVC coating and while it is easy to bend on purpose, once up, it is like a wall.

Overall this is very nice wire. It looks and feels very solid. For most applications this is an excellent wire. My application is a bit different, I am stapling this onto wood with an air stapler. I am playing with the stapler settings to try to eliminate fracturing of the coating. It seems to me that this wire may have been double dipped in the poly coating and the top layer fractures off when stapled. I am going to keep it and use it as a boarder around my garden. ... show more
