Goefun 8.5 x 11 black shimmer cardstock paper is strong, has a beautiful pearlized sheen, gorgeous.The shimmer is a very nice subtle effect almost like a pearl, very elegant.This black paper has smooth textured toothiness. Writing on it with certain types of pens gives the writing a pretty pearly undertone, and it did accept the inks from a variety of pens well. Gorgeous finish maintains pearlescence even after being printed.

I was disappointed with this paper, it was very thin, not something I expected, felt like it was just a bit thicker than a piece of vellum. Not so you can see thru it, but not sure if it will hold up to an embossing folder or die cuts. It seemed thinner than 80lb paper to me. It was pretty, with a golden tint for the shimmer, just thinner than I was looking for. If you wanted to use for a letter or award, it might be just what you need to print something on. ... show more

Decently durable paper hence the 2 stars. No other positives I can add here. This particular silver surely doesn't "sparkle or shimmer", it's more of a light olive color than silver. The picture i added was printed using my home HP inkjet printer. The left picture is white glitter paper that works amazingly well. The right picture is this paper that's off color, and also noticeably seems to absorb a great deal of color from picture making photo less vivid. Would not recommend .... ... show more
