I don't make jewelry regularly, so this review is for someone like me who might be thinking about making a bunch of multi-charmed necklaces to give away as gifts, I ordered these chains because the seller included a picture that showed a sample necklace created with multiple charms. Since that lined up with my project, I thought I would try them out. I had previously used 3mm chains for multi-charm projects, but they did not offer a 20 inch length. Now that I have received these chains and tried making a few necklaces, I've decided to order different chains. They are too hard to work with. I will use these chains for a future single charm project that does not require me to put the jump ring through the chain itself. While you CAN put jump ring through the links, the links are small. That means you either have to struggle to get the jump ring through the link or use a jump ring that's thin/small. If you use a smaller/thinner jump ring, you are limited in how large your charm can be. Please note that the seller did somewhat imply that fact in the listing photo. The charms shown in their sample are on the small size. So, if you are wondering if these will work for you, now you will at least know before ordering. I hope this helps.

I like the look of these chains, but they didn’t feel like pure stainless steel. I looked into it, and despite being listed as stainless steel, it’s 304 which means it’s as much as 10% nickel. I have use nickel-free material for my business due to customers with allergies, so unfortunately I will have to return all of these. I think they should list nickel as a component in the description to avoid accidental reactions. All other stainless steel chains I have used were nickel free.
